3D Printing & Modeling with Blender - Overnight: Session 1

3D printing technology has paved the way for countless inventions—from advanced stop-motion puppets in Coraline to custom prosthetic limbs for athletes. Dive deep into Blender, a powerful 3D modeling and animation software used by industry creatives. You’ll invent and model your own designs, like functional desk organizers or imaginative characters. Then, transform them into tactile prints! Create keychains, fidget toys, collectible pets, or build an articulated reptile with movable parts. Plug in your 3D models and watch them come to life layer by layer on the print bed! Once they’ve cooled off, add the final touches with 3D printing tools, sandpaper, and colorful paint markers. At the end of the week, you’ll take home your entire collection of 3D prints.
