Annie KIDS Black Box Performance
By Kent Denver School
Leapin’ Lizards! It’s time to take center stage in Annie KIDS! Join us for a heart-warming week as young performers bring to life the story of Little Orphan Annie and her journey from the New York City orphanage to the grand halls of Daddy Warbucks’ mansion. Filled with iconic songs like “Tomorrow” and “It’s the Hard-Knock Life,” this timeless musical celebrates optimism, courage, and the power of family. Throughout the week, students will build their skills in singing, dancing, and acting—all while working together to create a joyful, fully staged 30-minute performance of Annie. Whether you are a seasoned star or just beginning your musical journey, we are sure to have a smashing time! Please note that not all performers will receive the part of their choice, but all performers will receive lots of stage time and performance opportunities. All performers are expected to attend the required weekend rehearsal and shows. Students are asked to go home between performances.
Early Audition: Saturday, May 30th from 10-11:30 a.m. If students are unable to attend, a remote audition will be available.
Extra Rehearsal and extended class times: Saturday, June 27th from 9 a.m.-11 a.m.
Shows: Saturday, June 27th at 12:30 p.m. and potentially 5:30 p.m. Students should go home between shows.
