Ascent: Jun 7 – 12

Ascent campers experience a Christ-centered week with plenty of added exhilarating fun. Campers can choose to opt into activity excursions like rock climbing, mountain biking, or arts and crafts and get to spend one night camping out with their cabin. Through counselor discipleship, Bible studies, and unique outdoor experiences, Ascent campers experience a one-of-a-kind week of adventure and growth.

Additional Details Engaging with Jesus As campers grow and become more familiar with Jesus and the story of the Gospel, we want to begin to prompt them to consider: “What now?” and “What does who God is mean for who I am?” Ascent includes Bible studies, quiet times, worship, and camper rallies that all aim to introduce campers to Jesus and spur them forward in faith. Additionally, each Excursion that the Ascent campers experience will have a spiritual application meant to encourage campers to connect their faith with their everyday lives.

Campers’ Choice During their week at camp, we want campers to have the opportunity to rest and play in ways that they do not have everyday. During their free time, campers have the opportunity to have fun and participate in a long list of activities (including the Zipline, Nuke ‘Em, beach volleyball, laser tag and the blob) with their peers.
