BattleBots® Camp: Robotics Engineering with VEX

BattleBots® combines the craftsmanship of engineering with the high-octane excitement of a robotics championship. You’ll customize, build, and wire a base with your teammates, using the VEX Robotics Design System for your bot. Devise custom attachments like a claw arm, battering ram, or kill switch to conquer the arena. Then, program your robot with VEX C++ to tackle a gauntlet of challenges such as racing, obstacle courses, and capture the flag. Optimize your bot’s hardware and software between each competition to ensure maximum chance of domination. Grab your goggles and get ready for the ultimate showdown. “Let the bot battle begin!”

Prerequisite: Ability to work in a team. Each student will be provided with an individual computer and will share robotics equipment.
