This camp is for recreational players who love chess! Learn everything from openings to endgames, midgame strategies, tactics, positional play and more to improve your game.

Practice your opening, midgame, and end game and study classic games! This will prevent you from falling for traps and help you develop a repertoire that leads to positions with which you are comfortable.

Chess is a mathematical thinking game that strengthens your executive functioning skills including planning, abstract thinking, and complex decision making. These are the types of skills that are directly transferable to real life applications, such as studying and succeeding in school, creative problem solving, and preparing and maintaining concentration.

Valuable Learning Opportunities: Improve your chess game, learn to think logically and critically, learn how to develop plans, and improve your calculations and your endgames.

Early Arrival/Extended Day: 8am to 9am – $10/day | 3pm to 5:45pm – $28/day Optional Catered Lunch: Monday-Friday, $68.50/week
