Clay - Spin & Sculpt: Mythical Creatures on the Wheel Half Day AM (Week 1)
By Kent Denver School
Unleash your imagination in this 5-day pottery adventure where fantasy meets the wheel! Campers will learn handbuilding and wheel-throwing techniques to create their own magical pottery, including a dragon egg jar, a wheel-thrown creature cup or bowl, a unicorn mug or monster plate, and a sculpted creature figurine. With projects that combine function and fantasy, students will explore slab, coil, pinch, sculpting, and wheel-throwing methods while designing one-of-a-kind creations. By the end of camp, each artist will bring home a collection of mythical treasures, both functional and sculptural that show off their creativity and new pottery skills.
Supervised lunch option only available for purchase at check-out for PM tennis campers.
