COLLAGE ART

In this fun, hands-on camp, artists will explore the wide world of collage! Throughout the week, students will experiment with a variety of techniques, materials, and styles as they create unique layered artworks inspired by their own interests. We’ll look at examples from different artists, learn new ways to cut, glue, arrange, and combine materials, and discover how collage can be bold, colorful, textured, and full of imagination. This camp includes choice time for drawing, playing art games, and making friends. This camp is designed to be open-ended, allowing each child the freedom to develop their own ideas and creative voice while trying out lots of artistic possibilities.
