Curtain Up! Creators

Unleash your inner playwright and performer at Curtain Up! Creators! This is your chance to write, plan, and perform your very own 10-minute play. The week begins with creative writing exercises to develop a strong plot, clever characters, and snappy dialogue. Then, you'll jump into the exciting world of theater where you will receive individualized coaching and feedback as you collaborate with peers to rehearse and stage your masterpiece. A fun, fast-paced week from page to stage.

The camp is led by Olivia Dimond, a Middle School Language Arts teacher at SMA with extensive creative writing and theater experience. Ms. Dimond has taught creative writing at organizations like Denver Writes, and has assisted Kelley Zinge in the production of major school musicals, including the Middle School's Moana and this year's All-Academy Alice in Wonderland.

$535 per week $25 materials fee

Early Risers, before camp care, from 7:30 - 9 a.m. Afternoon Adventures, after camp care, from 3:30 - 6 p.m.
