DIY MUSICAL

In this camp, campers will work together to create their own story. Each student will participate in deciding the setting of the story, creating their own character and how it relates to the story. They will also be able to choose a song to sing individually or as a class depending on what they prefer. Finally, we will write the dialogue together as a class with each student collaborating with their classmates to write their own lines. This class is designed to take students through the process of creating their own drama/musical from scratch and how to work with others to bring their ideas to the stage, which we will perform on the last day of class! Note: This camp is not held in the Dawson theatre but in a space suited for a mini musical.
