Dragon Academy inspired by the Wings of Fire series

Welcome to Dragon Academy, a thrilling summer camp where Wings of Fire fans and creative minds unite to design their own dragon world and learn the science and storytelling behind these legendary creatures!
Campers will become dragon scientists, exploring the physics and chemistry behind dragon lore. They’ll study the science of fire, flight, and habitats, and create fizzing, bubbling ‘dragon eggs’ in the chemistry lab.
Every dragon needs a kingdom. Campers will map their own detailed worlds throughout the week. The camp ends with ‘Dragon Council’ role-paying sessions where campers work together to solve ecological crises within their shared world. The Dragon Academy combines fantasy, problem-solving, and creative writing. This immersive Dragon Academy is designed and led by our very own Lower and Middle School librarian, Missy Ochoa.
$535 per week $25 materials fee
Early Risers, before camp care, from 7:30 - 9 a.m. Afternoon Adventures, after camp care, from 3:30 - 6 p.m.
