Emerging Filmmakers Workshop: Creating Horror/Suspense
By Kent Denver School
The Emerging Filmmakers Workshop is a story-based filmmaking program for teens. Each workshop provides opportunities for students to find their individual voice by creating original content, making films, studying film, and more. Founded and led by professional filmmaker and educator, Neil Truglio, the workshops are designed to challenge and excite students at every stage of their storytelling development with the goal to foster personal expression and engage the power of young voices through the art of filmmaking. In this one-week workshop, students will work in teams to create their own unique horror or suspense short film. The workshop concludes with a red carpet screening of the films created in this workshop! Sack lunch option available for purchase at check-out.
