Graphic Storytelling in Verse: Summer Camp for ages 7-10

In this camp, writers will utilize and blend graphic novel techniques with lyrical musing. The main objective will be to establish visual and poetic hierarchy in one's own work. Through storylining in verse, panel outlining, and more, young writers will develop and draft one cohesive multimedia piece containing characters, conflicts, and resolutions. Told in parts or as a one boarded story, final projects will reflect a discovered narrative voice and a world built off poetry. Come conduct some literary alchemy, you’ll be amazed at what you create in five days. If you are someone who not only enjoys language and writing but also partakes in visual art (drawing, collaging, painting, etc), this is the camp for you!
