Hadestown: Teen Edition Main Stage Production (Two Weeks)
By Kent Denver School
Hadestown offers performers an exciting opportunity to explore musical theater as they delve into performing one of the “hottest” musicals presently on Broadway and around the world! Hadestown is currently only available to license for high school programs, so this unique opportunity is just for teenagers. Hadestown is a Tony-winning Broadway musical that weaves together the Greek myths of Orpheus and Eurydice with that of Hades and Persephone. Set in a post-apocalyptic, Depression-era-inspired world, the musical explores themes of love, faith, doubt, and the conflict between industry and nature. Please note that not all performers will receive the part of their choice but they will be given lots of stagetime and performance experience.
