Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry: 2nd and 3rd Years

Inspired by the adventures and magical mysteries from the Harry Potter series, witches and wizards will attend their Second and Third Years of Hogwarts as they compete for the house cup, explore the halls, secrets, and classes, and make long-lasting friendships. Hogwarts students will journey from Diagon Alley to the Hogwarts castle as they experience an entire magical year at the world-renowned school for witches and wizards in just one week! In addition to attending all new classes in potions, dueling, transfigurations, divinations, herbology and flying, students will be tasked with new adventures that may help them win the house cup! Through the magic of “role play”, our students will dive into the magical world of Harry Potter and his friends. Besides cultivating new and advanced magical skills, our witches and wizards will make new friends and develop strong communities in their houses. Even if you are a returning student to Hogwarts, each year will bring new friends, classes and adventures. “We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided”.- Albus Dumbledore. Teacher Bio: Ella Newcomb has been with the Summer at KDS team for ten years and joined as a lead teacher in the summer of 2020. With a degree in Comparative Literature and Education from Oberlin College, a background in theater, and a love for the world of Harry Potter and the other stories of the wizarding world, she cannot wait to dive into the magical world this summer for another year of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
