JEWELRY MAKING

This camp will cover all the elements of basic jewelry making, and campers will have the opportunity to create rings, earrings, and necklaces out of silver. Campers will learn the “lost” art of wax casting: a method developed in Ancient Egypt. Campers will also be introduced to advanced techniques such as soldering, stone-setting, metalworking (hammering, texturing, dapping, and doming), and finishing techniques.
