Magic Academy (1st-3rd) Full Day
By Curious Jane
Calling all young magic makers!
This spellbinding program blends whimsical creativity with a dash of real-world science as makers step into a world where imagination and discovery go hand-in-hand. Campers explore fantastical creatures, ancient legends, and the mystery of magical realms while bringing their own enchanted ideas to life.
Makers dive into the art of magic by sculpting clay wands, mixing color-changing potions, practicing playful magic tricks, and writing their own spells in a personalized spellbook. They’ll craft glowing spell jars, design mythical creatures and the habitats they call home, create dragon-inspired treasures, and explore the science behind “magic” through hands-on potion making and imaginative STEM experiments. From crystal balls to rain sticks, every project invites makers to wonder, create, and explore.
As creativity flows, each maker will build a spellbook filled with incantations, sketches, and discoveries. The program concludes with a Maker Showcase, where campers share their magical creations and celebrate the enchantment they’ve brought to life.
Notes Curious Jane does not provide food. Please pack a nut-free, non-perishable lunch and 2–3 snacks each day. Half-day campers only need snacks and do not require a lunch. Each camper receives one camp t-shirt per summer. A second t-shirt can be purchased for $12 and will feature the same design on a different color. This is a great option for campers attending multiple weeks of camp.
