Magic Treehouse with Ella
By Kent Denver School
The Magic Tree House is back in the Frog Creek Woods, and it’s waiting for you! This summer, campers will take a page out of Jack and Annie’s book and be transported in time through the beloved Magic Tree House stories - through crafts, creative drama, movement, and music. Campers will discover, alongside Jack and Annie, that there are many kinds of magicians, as they learn some of their tricks and secrets. This camp will be an amazing adventure for any young creative camper who loves to play and read! Sack lunch option available for purchase at check-out.
Teacher Bio: Ella Newcomb joined the Summer at KDS teaching community in 2020 and has worked as an assistant choral conductor, dance instructor, and preschool classroom teacher. With a BA in Comparative Literature and Education, Ella has a strong love for where these two disciplines meet. Having grown up in the theater performing, singing, and dancing in stage productions of some of Disney’s acclaimed tales, Magic Tree House Stories and other children’s literature turned from “page to stage”, Ella developed a deep love for the beauty of children's literature and the music that brings them to life!
