Matilda Main Stage Production (Two Weeks)
By Kent Denver School
This summer, step into the spotlight and take your performance skills to the next level in Matilda the Musical. This two-week, high-energy theater experience is designed for teens who are passionate about performance and ready to challenge themselves and grow as musical theater artists. Whether you are a seasoned performer or stepping on stage for the first time, all ensemble work will encourage creativity, teamwork and confidence building, while in a positive ensemble based environment.
Students will train like a professional performer as they dive into the electrifying world of Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical—a show filled with fierce choreography, outstanding music, clever lyrics, and bold storytelling. Each day, performers will refine their vocal technique, acting craft, and stage confidence, while finding and developing their voice. Performers will work with director Neila Getz, choreographers, coaches, and the talented and driven cast. We will let the world know - even the smallest voice can spark something big. Please note that not all actors will receive the part of their choice but will have lots of stage time and performance opportunities. Sack lunch option available for purchase at check-out.

Her goal for campers is to gain confidence in themselves and make friends – all while having a blast! She loves the friendships, laughter, and lasting memories that are created while learning and working hard and feels music is an incredible stepping stone for success. Neila received her M.M. In Vocal Performance from The University of Colorado, Boulder. Professionally she has performed around the nation and internationally.
