Metapsim

Metapsim (met-op-seem), or ‘Climbers,’ our 5th – 6th grade campers, are ready to take on new adventures as they emerge as young leaders. In this full 14- or 19-day session, campers unlock the full range of camp experiences, from their first mountain biking adventure to leading Shabbat services or embarking on a horseback trail ride. A key part of the Metapsim program is the focus the value Hakh’lalla (Inclusion), which guides everything from activities to cabin life, encouraging campers to embrace and celebrate their differences while building a strong sense of community. Metapsim campers also get to experience a more rugged campout at the special Metapsim Spot, spending a magical night under the stars and possibly spotting the Milky Way!

All Metapsim campers have the option to choose a specialty camp—Equestrian or Outdoor Adventure—or stick with the traditional program. Campers in Specialty Camps dive in deeply to their specific activity areas rather than rotating through each activity area.
