You’ll build a prototype, design a user interface, and test it on a portable tablet. Apply UX principles and gather feedback from your peers to make your prototype accessible and user-friendly. Once you’ve created a solid foundation, integrate functionality and mechanics with GameMaker, the engine behind Undertale! Concept ideas, design levels, and bring your vision to life through engaging gameplay. You’ll start by using built-in visual code to develop custom game mechanics like collectible items. Then, dive deeper and convert your events to editable code. Transform your idea into a playable touchscreen experience, whether that’s a cozy virtual pet app, an exciting action-adventure, or a monster collection game like Pokémon Go. Your game will open the way to mobile play—you can even bring your own Apple or Android device to experience it on!
