MODEL ROCKET MAYHEM

We will build rockets! We will launch rockets! This summer camp will be an exciting journey into model rockets. Each student will construct and launch three rockets, from a beginner level to more advanced construction. All supplies will be provided, and students will be able to take their rockets home at the end of the week. We will launch rockets from our fields here at Dawson where we will see some rockets go up to 1000 feet into the sky. We will follow standard Students will learn how to launch safely and successfully following the National Association of Rocketry Model Rocket Safety Code. We will also learn how model rockets relate and apply to real world rockets destined for space.
