Pirate Party Camp Ahoy, makers! Grab your compass and imagination, it’s time to set sail on a week of creative crafting, storytelling, and pirate mischief! In this hands-on maker camp, buccaneers will build their very own pirate world using wood, fabric, paper, clay, and a splash of adventure. Each day brings new projects, new skills, and a growing tale of life on the high seas. Here’s what’s happening on deck this week: Day 1: Pirate Ships Start your voyage by designing and building your very own pirate ship! Use wood, cardboard, and creative engineering to craft your vessel, then paint and decorate it with sails, flags, and a name fit for a fearless captain. Day 2: Costumes No crew is complete without proper pirate attire! Hand-stitch a pirate vest and eye patch, then design and decorate a classic paper pirate hat to complete your seafaring style. Day 3: Parrots & Swords Every pirate needs a sidekick and a sword! Sculpt colorful parrots from papier-mâché and craft your own cardboard sword for high-seas adventures and swashbuckling fun. Day 4: Treasure Boxes Build and decorate a personal wooden treasure chest to hold your pirate loot. Add details like brass corners, secret compartments, and a custom insignia worthy of a true captain. Day 5: Pirate Dioramas Bring your pirate tale to life by creating a 3D diorama scene! Use your ships, crew, and treasures to build a high-seas adventure display featuring peg doll pirates, polymer clay sea creatures, and all the week’s creations. By the end of camp, every young maker will sail home with a chest full of treasures, a crew of handmade characters, and a week’s worth of creative adventures to remember.
