Print and Prototype: 3D Printing and Rollercoaster Constructors: Engineering and Design Combo

Ignite your student's inner engineer with this dynamic, full-day camp for Grades 4-8.

In the mornings, you’ll design something in 3D modeling software and print your creations. In the afternoons, you’ll use Tinkercad (kid-friendly CAD software) to design your own roller-coaster layouts. You’ll learn about kinetic energy and structural engineering by applying it and figuring out how to make your designs actually work.

The week ends with a field trip to Elitch Gardens, where you will see professional engineering up close when you are riding their roller-coaster rides.
