Secret Worlds (K-2nd) Full Day

Welcome to a world where everything is tiny, magical, and full of mystery! In this reimagined Mini World Junior, campers become creators of their own secret realms — building a brand-new miniature environment each day. Using colorful materials, clever construction tricks, and tons of imagination, they explore scale, proportion, and simple engineering as they bring each little world to life.

From enchanted hideouts to tiny circus tents to outdoor dreamlands and fantasy landscapes, makers transform the classroom into a buzzing studio of creativity. And when they need a spark of inspiration, the Swap Shop and Idea Station are waiting with treasures and prompts to explore.

Projects include enchanted forests, miniature circus tents, shoebox lockers, tiny furniture and accessories, mini people and pets, plus secret-world search lanterns and treasure maps filled with hidden surprises.

Notes Curious Jane does not provide food. Please pack a nut-free, non-perishable lunch and 2–3 snacks each day. Half-day campers only need snacks and do not require a lunch. Each camper receives one camp t-shirt per summer. A second t-shirt can be purchased for $12 and will feature the same design in a different color. This is a great option for campers attending multiple weeks of camp.

Sample Class Format

8:30–8:45am — All Camp Drop-Off / Check-In

8:45–9:00 — Morning Greeting & Worldbuilder Kickoff (Daily imaginative prompt, quick sketch of the day’s mini world, warm-up building challenge, and sharing design ideas)

9:00–10:00 — Project Period 1: Feature Build (Start a core world such as Enchanted Forests, Miniature Circus Tents, or Indoor Hideaway Rooms)

10:00–10:30 — Snack

10:30–12:00 — Project Period 2: Weeklong World Project (Work on ongoing builds like Shoebox Lockers, 3D landscapes, tiny furniture, mini people & pets, and special accessories)

12:00 — Lunch

12:30–1:15pm — Camp Collaborative (Group activities such as Design Challenges, Scavenger Hunts, and Inspiration Station visits)

1:15–2:45 — Project Period 3: Secret Details & Discovery Tools (Add magical elements, create Secret World Search Lanterns, make treasure maps, finish details, and build interactive hidden features)

2:45 — Clean Up & Pack Up

3:00 — Parent Pick-Up
