Senders

This program is for kids who have previously attended camp or are really wanting to learn more and start climbing on their own. Generally best for kids 12 and older participants will progress under the watchful eye of certified instructors learning:

basic climbing skills for toproping like belaying, tying in, and rappelling. sport leading skills like proper clipping, basic anchors and proper lead belaying placing traditional gear such as cams and stoppers, building traditional anchors where bolts are not available. multipitch climbing skills outdoor etiquette and outdoor skills.

Transportation to climbing site from pre-arranged pickup, group climbing equipment, harnesses, helmets, climbing shoes, certified guides.

Specific itineraries sent before camp commences will include dates with specific camping and climbing locations.
