So You Want to Be an…Entrepreneur and Everyday Math Wiz

How do you use everyday math? Students will discover how a “street smart” way of thinking about math will change how they see the world through a more mathematical lens. Campers will understand the randomness of dice, coin flips, cards and how to master smart mathematical 'thinking' so it works for them. Campers will then delve into the world of design by creating and producing their very own project or product that will be presented to a Shark Tank like board in a business minded presentation using the skills acquired throughout the week. So, if You Want to be… an Entrepreneur and Everyday Math Wiz, spend a week playing with math and learning how to practically apply this understanding to your entrepreneurial skills as students pitch a presentation of their very own project. Entrepreneurship & Microbusiness Math will be applied to gain a greater understanding of cost vs revenue, break-even pts, and how to track and market a business. Come join us as you delve into a world where your math skills and how you use them “make sense” and are easily applied to the things you love to create and design!
