Songwriting and Production Camp

In this special 5-day camp, students will explore the full creative process — from writing original music to recording and producing their own tracks. Throughout the week, campers will study influential songs from the last 60 years to better understand melody, lyrics, chord progressions, and arrangement. They’ll apply those concepts to craft original music, building confidence as both musicians and songwriters. Students will then learn the fundamentals of recording and production using accessible studio software and tools. They’ll track, mix, and help produce their own material, gaining valuable hands-on experience in shaping a song from start to finish. Monday through Friday will be spent collaborating, writing, and recording, culminating in a listening showcase or performance on the final day.

This camp is ideal for instrumentalists and vocalists students ages 12–18 years of age, who have some experience on their instrument and are excited to expand into songwriting and music production.
