In this deliciously hands-on class, students will learn how to create two bakery favorites from scratch: rustic sourdough bread and soft, gooey cinnamon rolls. We’ll explore each step of the process—from feeding and shaping sourdough to mixing, rolling, and icing perfect cinnamon rolls. Along the way, students will discover the science of yeast, practice careful measuring and kneading techniques, and enjoy the sweet rewards of their hard work. Perfect for young bakers ready to level up their skills! Students should expect to take home their very own sourdough starter, a loaf of sourdough to share with their families, and a dozen cinnamon rolls.
