Space - To Infinity and Beyond Half Day AM

To Infinity - and Beyond!! In this camp, campers will become fabulous space explorers as they discover our solar system – including planets, orbits, moons and stars! Campers will create and build spaceships, create their own mission control, play with moon sand, sample astronaut foods, and discover imaginative science experiments! Campers will use art, music, crafts and more to bring their space exploration adventures to life each day!
Teacher Bio: Ingrid Shea has been teaching in early childhood education for 14 years. She has taught ages 2-6 in play-based preschool settings as well as in music and theater settings. She offers private voice and acting/public speaking lessons for ages 8-adult. Ingrid strongly believes in the power of play and the wonderful life lessons that can come from being in the moment! With a degree in music as well as education, she enjoys bringing music into all her work with children. This will be Ingrid’s fourth year at Summer at Kent Denver, and she has truly enjoyed being a part of building and developing the KDS preschool summer program!

Lunch can be purchased through Kent Denver for all classes below 50 in number. Students may bring their own lunch.
