At Sports Analytics Camp, learn how to make decisions based on statistics to organize a team and evaluate players. In addition, explore the power of computer coding to create a Java™ program that assigns a Player Efficiency Rating (PER) based on your model. And yes, you can decide how to weight each statistical category based on research and the use of sports analytics! Prior experience in Java™ or Python™ is recommended, but not required.

In addition to learning how to analyze stats and make theories and assertions, participate in an All-Camp Fantasy Baseball League to put your skills to work!

Valuable Learning Opportunities include getting experience in statistics, creating a Java program that assigns a Player Efficiency Rating (PER), and exploring an exciting and fast-growing industry!
