Squirm

This exciting 20-minute musical is specially designed for our youngest campers, setting them up for a fun, artistic adventure where they learn through applied creativity.

This camp is a one-week, half-day camp. Campers will need to bring a snack and water bottle each day.

Each day includes acting, singing, dance/movement, and snack time (students bring a snack). The week ends with a performance for friends and family!

Audition Information

Upon enrollment, every student has a place in the cast. Auditions will take place on the first day of camp to allow the teaching artists to find the best role for each student.

Auditions are structured to provide a supportive atmosphere where students are encouraged to be brave and show the artistic team engagement, willingness to learn, and a positive, collaborative spirit. No previous experience is needed.

Show Description: The musical that’ll make you squirm (and smile!) is a delightfully creepy-crawly adventure starring the world’s wiggliest cast of spiders, snakes, bats, and worms! When the Itsy Bitsy Spider, Daddy Long Legs, and their buggy buddies take center stage, they’ll show that the creatures we often squirm about aren’t so scary after all. Through catchy songs, silly antics, and a big dose of heart, these critters teach everyone that being different can be downright A-OK! Perfect for little performers, this mini musical is full of fun, laughter, and life lessons that will have audiences cheering for the under-bugs!
