This is a joyful, process-based art class where the focus is on creating, not on making a “perfect” finished piece. Children are encouraged to explore, experiment, and play with a wide variety of materials at their own pace. By letting go of pressure and expectations, young artists are free to make messes, take creative risks, learn from mistakes, and try new ideas with confidence. Designed for artists of all skill levels and abilities, this class offers developmentally appropriate experiences that support fine and gross motor skills, sensory exploration, and imagination. Most of all, it’s about curiosity, creativity, and having lots of wonderfully messy fun. 🎨✨ Additional Notes: Please read the Art Camp Info document to make camp a success for everyone. Lunch: Parents, if you would like your student to stay for the lunch hour from 12:00-1:00 please add the Extended Day Option to your cart and please pack your child a lunch to eat from home. Please note, they will be spending the lunch hour with the older art campers What to Bring: A water bottle A snack A lunch if they'll be in attendance from 12:00-1:00 Appropriate dress/shoes for outside play. We will take an outside break to stretch our minds and bodies! It helps us be better artists! An open imagination and a spirit of play!
