Vocals: Camp Cabaret! El Pomar Theater Performance
By Kent Denver School
In Vocals: Camp Cabaret! Vocalists will focus on “show-stoppers” from their favorite musicals and movies, the “how-to” of auditions, individualized vocal lessons, coaching from college professors, and conclude with an exciting showcase performance of individual and ensemble work! This final “cabaret-esque” performance will feature a sampling of our hard work and talents, with large group numbers, solos, and smaller featured moments. This week-long workshop will be full of singing, coaching, performing, dancing, and fun. No matter the student skill level, vocalists will grow, learn a variety of important vocal and performance skills and develop performance confidence in a supportive and exciting environment. Join in the fun as you meet new friends and rekindle old relations. Kindness, respect, hardwork, and inclusivity are required. It takes an incredible amount of bravery to be a public speaker, much less a public singer! Our goal is that each performer will leave camp with a sense of accomplishment, confidence, and excitement around vocal performance. Sack lunch option available for purchase at check-out.
Show: Friday, July 24th at 4 p.m.
