Wild World of Writing: Summer Camp for ages 7-10

Let’s flex our creative muscles and explore writing in community and out in the environment! In this camp for ages eight to ten, we’ll play with all different forms of writing—from poetry and short stories to art and nature journaling. This camp will offer a wide variety of ways for young writers to express themselves and connect with others and the world around them. We’ll spend time inside community building and playing writing games and outside exploring the path near Lighthouse to find nature-based writing adventures. We’ll take plenty of snack breaks and will even have some snack-themed writing prompts! This is a perfect camp for kids who are just starting their writing journey, enthusiastic writers and reluctant ones alike.
