Step into a world of mossy magic and tiny adventures!

In this imaginative week of making and storytelling, campers will explore the art of the enchanted forest, where fairies, gnomes, and woodland creatures come to life through creative craft and design. Using natural materials, fabric, and felt, makers will dream up their own magical world, complete with tiny homes, forest treasures, and fantastical costumes.

Here’s what’s happening in the forest this week: Day 1: Forest Journals & Gnome/Fairy Homes Begin your woodland adventure by crafting your own forest journal to sketch, design, and record your magical ideas. Then, build your first fairy or gnome home using natural materials like moss, bark, and twigs to create a cozy forest dwelling.

Day 2: Fairy/Gnome Furniture & Accessories Bring your miniature homes to life with handcrafted furniture and detailed accessories! From tiny tables and leaf beds to acorn lamps and pebble pathways, add the finishing touches that make your woodland world truly enchanting.

Day 3: Felted Forest Treasures Discover the magic of needle felting as you create soft forest treasures—like tiny creatures, mushrooms, and charms—to decorate your fairy homes or keep as special forest friends.

Day 4: Toadstools or Gnome Friends Learn basic hand-stitching techniques to sew and stuff your own plush toadstool or friendly gnome companion. These whimsical creations make the perfect addition to your enchanted forest collection!

Day 5: Woodland Costume Celebration End the week by bringing your story to life! Design and create your very own woodland costume inspired by your favorite forest character. Become a fairy with shimmering wings, a clever fox, or a cozy gnome with a pointy hat—then show off your creations in a magical end-of-week celebration!

By the end of camp, every maker will head home with a collection of enchanted creations, new crafting and design skills, and a touch of forest magic that’s all their own. Adventure awaits among the trees
