A small conductor-less ensemble made up of the most advanced string players from the CYSO Symphony. The group performs frequently at venues including the Colorado Ballet, Colorado Symphony, Opera Colorado, the State Capitol, and art galleries. Repertoire spans a wide range including Grieg's Holberg Suite, Mozart Divertimento K. 136, and Nielsen's Suite for Strings. Audition required.

Conductor: Isaac Kay. Classes meet generally once a month. The ensemble has performed internationally, including at the Prague Multicultural Music Festival in 2019. Audition fee: $30.
