Advanced Feva Sailing Camp: Week 6 - Boulder

Sailors at this level are ready to take on the challenge needed for more advanced double-handed sailing in all types of wind. Campers will sail with a partner in an RS Feva while strengthening the skills needed for efficient teamwork on a 2-person sailboat. While sailing with a partner, campers will focus on boat handling, right of way, and sailing in all conditions under control. Sailors will even begin to learn the fundamentals of flying a 3rd sail (spinnaker) to optimize speed, practice advanced boat handling, and prepare for Expert level classes.

Moving Up: Campers need 1 week of Advanced 420 Camp (and at least 4 weeks of sailing camp in total) to move on to Expert Camp.
