Boys Football Half Day AM

Summer at Kent Denver is excited to offer a safe and fun football camp for all levels of players. This camp will build football skills through drills and active play to assist young athletes in learning and improving in all aspects of the game. This will be a non-padded, non-contact camp with health and safety at the forefront. Football coaches will focus on the fundamental development of running, throwing, and catching, along with proper techniques of form-blocking and form-tackling. It is our goal to build positive athletic character and the confidence of each player that will go beyond the field of play. The qualities of leadership, competition, sportsmanship, effort, humility and influencing others positively will become a daily expectation. Camp instruction will focus on individual positions in football (QBs, WRs, RBs, TEs, OLs, DEs, LBs and DBs) by Kent Denver’s highly experienced football coaching staff and varsity players. Each drill will be age-appropriate and tailored to all skill levels. Campers are asked to bring cleats and a water bottle. Come join us for a fun week filled with a lot of individual football learning and development.

Teacher Bio: Prior to joining Kent Denver in 2022, Coach Newcomer coached for 10 years at the collegiate level serving in a variety of roles. With a combination of coaching and playing experience, Coach Newcomer is passionate about developing young athletes, teaching the game of football, and building up players of strong character. “I am fortunate to be able to teach a great sport I love with coaches that share the same energy and enthusiasm. The coaches on staff provide a depth of knowledge and experience from multiple levels of football. That coupled with their genuine investment in each player makes this a special place to be."

Lunch can be purchased through Kent Denver for all classes below 50 in number. Students may bring their own lunch.
