Day Off Creative Writing Camp for Ages 7-12

Single-day creative writing camps held while Denver Public Schools are out for professional development days and school breaks. Kids explore fiction, poetry, journaling, and more through fun activities and games while making new writing friends. Each camp session is different, so participants get a whole new experience each time they sign up. Snacks are provided; participants should pack a nut-free lunch.

Parents and guardians are welcome to stay at Lighthouse and work while students are in camp. A five-pack bundle covering all five day-off camp dates in the 2026-27 school year is available for $540 (a 10% discount off the individual price). Financial assistance is available.
