Once Upon a Farm with Annie Half Day AM (Week 2)
By Kent Denver School
This week-long adventure invites young learners to step into a storybook world where farm life comes alive! Designed especially for curious 4 and 5-year-olds who love animals and wonder, this camp blends hands-on activities, imaginative play, and creative projects inspired by life on the farm. Each day begins with “Once upon a time” and unfolds through stories, art, and movement that brings the magic of the farm to life.
Campers will meet the friendly animals at the Tiny Farm, all with their own tales to tell. Young farmers will roll up their little sleeves, pull on their boots, and explore the garden, planting seeds and discovering how sun, soil, and water work their quiet magic. Through story circles, choice-time adventures, and plenty of outdoor play, children will grow friendships, creativity, and a lifelong love of the natural world.
Teacher Bio: Annie has always had a deep love for the outdoors and exploring every corner of the natural world. Annie has taught Kindergarten and 2nd grade, and is currently teaching Pre-K. She finds joy in helping young learners connect with nature through storytelling, exploration, and hands-on discovery. She’s delighted to spend another summer at KDS growing, learning, and adventuring alongside campers!
