Quarter B-4 - Pikas

For campers who are excited about Cheley but either too young or not quite ready for a full four weeks away, we offer Quarter B-4: a fun, four-night overnight camp experience designed as a gentle introduction to the Cheley Experience. It’s a great way for 8- to 10-year-olds to dip their toes into camp life before committing to our full 27-day program. That said, Quarter B-4 is intended as a stepping stone, not a long-term alternative

Campers must be between 8 and 10 years old by the last day of Quarter B-4. Once a camper turns 11 years old, they must move into our full 27-Day Summer Camp program, as we do not offer shorter sessions for older campers. Families of 9- and 10-year-olds can choose between Quarter B-4 and Summer Camp based on their camper’s readiness. If you’re unsure which session is the best fit (or just want to talk it through), we’re always here to help—just give us a call!

Cheley offers a free-choice program, allowing campers to build their own adventure by selecting from a wide range of activities each week. Whether it’s saddling up for a horseback ride, hiking to an alpine lake, testing your skills on the climbing wall, or diving into creative arts, there’s something for everyone. Campers challenge themselves in target sports like archery and riflery, navigate rugged terrain on mountain bikes, and take on technical climbing routes. Some prefer to paddleboard on a glassy reservoir or raft down the Poudre River, while others enjoy woodworking, ceramics, and sewing in the craft shop. No matter the activity, each moment at Cheley is designed to foster growth, connection, and a lifelong love for adventure.
