Tiny Farm Day Camp: Farm Fun, Fairies and Magical Woodland Creatures! Full Day
By Kent Denver School
Young farmers – Come and let your imaginations soar as you dig into our vegetable and flower gardens, care for farm animals, create fairy and wood creature crafts inspired by nature, and canoe on our beautiful ponds. Campers will play and work on the Tiny Farm and discover the magical fairy and wood creature forest – all while learning about community as they meet new friends, delve into games galore, and explore the wonders of the outdoors. Young farmers will become stewards of the earth as they experience the natural habitats surrounding the Tiny Farm. During the heat of the day, campers will spend several hours inside, discovering stories, art, games, and music. Sack lunch option available for purchase at check-out.
Teacher Bios: Michelle Kingston was a certified veterinary technician and has spent the last five years working in kindergarten and elementary classrooms. This is Michelle’s second year as the Tiny Farm Manager where she enjoys teaching students outside of the classroom about the world around them. She believes the best way to learn about the environment is through hands-on creative activities where children can take ownership of their learning, see the “fruits of their labor” and experience the creative connections of learning through play.
