VISUAL IMMERSIVE ART - Commuter
By LYNX National Arts and Media Camps
We are happy to announce that we will be offering the Visual Immersive Art camp for the 2026 LYNX Camp Session!
Do you think Meow Wolf is amazing and do you want to learn about creating this type of immersive art? If so, this camp is for you!
Here is the Visual Immersive Art lesson plan for the 2024 camp session.
Students will explore how to create an immersive interactive space using exciting tools that bring together multiple aspects of the studio arts—including painting and drawing, stop motion animation, 3D laser cutting and vacuum forming, working with mold-making, paper, textiles, and video projection. The class focuses on how to transform the basics of art making by hand into an exciting visual and experiential space, both within the interiors of Auraria Campus and the exteriors of exciting Downtown Denver.
