Winter Break Camp

Keep your child active and engaged this winter break! Wheat Ridge Sun Camp is a state-licensed day camp for children ages 6 to 13, offered during Jefferson County Public Schools' summer and winter breaks. Daily activities are developed around exciting themes and include amenities at the Wheat Ridge Recreation Center like rock climbing, racquetball, gym time, and swimming, as well as board games and arts and crafts. Most activities are done as a whole group, though campers split into two age groups (6–9 and 10–13) while at their base camp at Anderson Recreation Center.
