Adaptive Ballet

An inclusive dance program for children with Down Syndrome, Autism, physical, mental, and emotional challenges, as well as wheelchair users. Curriculum draws from ballet, character, modern, music, and theatre. Students may transition into the mainstream ballet curriculum as they build confidence and technical skills. The studio is wheelchair accessible.

Additional Activity Details

Class begins once six students are enrolled. Individualized educational plans developed with families. Instructor: Suzanne Pomerantzeff. Girls: any color leotard, tights, and ballet slippers. Boys: t-shirt, shorts, socks, and ballet slippers.
