A twice-weekly parent-child playgroup for families with infants newborn to 12 months. Babies build social-emotional, physical, and cognitive development through songs, sensory materials, and positive interactions while adults learn how to foster their child's early learning and connect with other caregivers.
Additional Activity Details
Meets twice a week: one session at Bayshore Baptist Church (3111 W. Morrison Ave., 2nd floor) and one at Champions for Children's main campus (3108 W. Azeele St.). Core concepts: secure attachment, infant feeding, safe sleep, serve-and-return communication, tummy time, beginning motor skills.
About Great We Grow
Great We Grow is a free bilingual (English/Spanish) early childhood center in Tampa's Town 'n' Country neighborhood, operated by Champions for Children. The program offers educational playgroups, developmental checkups, and community activities for children aged birth to 60 months and their parents or caregivers, helping local families learn how to raise happy, healthy, successful children.
