Homeschool Programs

Monthly student-only hands-on marine science sessions for homeschooled students ages 6 and up. Each class explores Tampa Bay's ecosystem through guided investigations, including wildlife walks, boat tours, seining, kayaking, snorkeling, and specimen studies. Space is limited; registration required.

Student-only sessions; parents do not attend class. Some sessions held at alternate locations including the Auer Marine Education Center (Tierra Verde) and aboard the eco-vessel at the St. Pete Pier. Session topics and locations vary monthly. Kayak Tampa Bay requires ages 10+, costs $40, and runs 3 hours. Fishing Workshop requires ages 12+.
