Skateboard Lessons

Develop fundamental skateboarding skills and learn tricks at Apollo Beach Skate Park. Open to all skill levels including complete beginners. Youth ages 7–12.
Additional Activity Details
Participants must own their own skateboard. Helmet required for all participants 17 and under; children 12 and under must also wear elbow pads and knee pads and have a parent or guardian present. A Parks & Rec online account is required to register.

Jackson Springs Park & Community Center is a Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation facility in Tampa serving kids, teens, adults, and seniors. The center features an indoor gym with basketball, volleyball, and pickleball, a fully mirrored dance room, fitness center, and outdoor areas including a staffed skate park, playground, basketball courts, and soccer field. It offers after-school programs, adaptive recreation for children with disabilities, and youth sports leagues.
