Team Tampa Middle School Rowing – 8th Grade Competitive

A competitive rowing track for rising 8th graders who are ready for a higher level of competition, training alongside the high school varsity and novice teams. Athletes follow the same schedule as the high school program and must arrive by 4:45 PM for on-water practice.

Same fee structure as the high school program: $100 one-time annual registration fee plus $200/month billed September–May. USRowing membership ($25–$75) required separately. Must arrive by 4:45 PM to participate in on-the-water practice. Scholarships available.
About Team Tampa Rowing
Team Tampa Rowing is a City of Tampa Parks & Recreation youth rowing program based at the Bob Buckhorn River Center on the Hillsborough River. Operating under the motto 'Everyone rows,' the program offers competitive crew training for students in grades 5–12 with no prior experience required, no tryouts, and no cuts. Scholarships are available, and all coaches hold current CPR, Florida Safe Boater, and Safe Sport certifications with annual background checks.
