School Break Camp

School vacation sailing camp for kids ages 7–13 at the Clearwater Community Sailing Center. Campers learn boathandling, rigging, and knots while enjoying on- and off-water activities including swimming and games. All experience levels welcome. Typically offered during Thanksgiving Week and Spring Break.

What to bring: clothes you can get wet, dry clothes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, closed-toed shoes (no flip-flops), towel, bagged lunch, reusable water bottle; windbreaker and/or wetsuit recommended for cooler weather. The Clearwater Community Sailing Center (CCSC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to provide safe, enriching, and affordable sailing opportunities to local residents and visitors — including youth, seniors, and the disabled — for the enjoyment and benefit of the entire community. CCSC offers boat rentals, private and group sailing lessons, memberships, summer camps, and community events from its waterfront facility on Clearwater Beach.
